my Son birthday

February 8, 2008 3:41am CST
It is my Son's 10th birthday on Saturday and i am really pleased and happy that it is going to be his day tom. To me i am finding it hard to believe that my eldest has now reached double numbers!. It only feels like yesterday that i was still holding him in my arms and it only feels like yesterday that he was still a young baby. Why does time have to pass us by all so quickly. The next thing that i will know is that he will be in his twenties and i will still be asking the same question!

I know exactly how you feel and exactly what you mean! When my eldest reached his double figures it seemed like a landmark some how, like he's grown up all of a sudden, and although its a happy thing it is also a little sad because you know they are growing up. My eldest is 16 now and will be 17 this year and I cant believe it, he leaves school this year and is now taller than me. Its so hard to believe he was ever a baby, I too wish time would slow itself down a bit.

Thank you i am so glad that someone else out there knows what i mean. You have hit the nail on the head with the feeling like its a landmark but somehow like he's grown up all of a sudden. That is exactly how i feel Thanks again
