I used to keep a diary when I was a teenager and found out my mother had been reading it, I've never kept another one since. I did leave her a message, thanks mom for the privacy.

yes i do keep a diary but i wasn't able to write on it religiously. It makes mefeel good whenever i read it back after years. It was an awakening for me for the fears that I had which i surpassed and tells me that worries do not really help since there would always be solutions as evident in my diary.

I've wrote in a diary before but instead of those very personal things, I have written funny stories about what happened to me and my friends. I did write something serious but it didn't happen much. Right now, I don't write much on it anymore except for those very memorable events in my life.

I think thast balanced approach...... Most of times i wrote diary during my journeys and tours.. and still whenever i have a look of those diaries i feel like a fantasy world :).. Nowadays as me in hostel so sometime i note down my expenses OR some common sentenses of korean language :) ZIA from PAKISTAN

I started a journal when I was in college because I was a history major and understood just how important things like that are when researching a time period. However, I just don't have the time to do something like that now.

I kept a diary and a dream journal since I was about 12. After my Mom read my diary, I decided to just keep a mental diary! I'm sure my hubby would not like to hear some of my dream either!
