I noticed on some other post people were mentioning that they were Pagan. Recently i've been really intrested in Pagainism, but getting information about it is kind of confusing. Ecspecially since i don't know anyone who is Pagan. Can some give me some information about what exactly it is and how i can participate in it?

To fully cover this topic would take pages & pages. Paganism is a term used to describe any of the non mainstream ( bible based ) religions. There are lots & lots of varieties. Many are earth based ( meaning they worship nature itself ). Some have multiple gods or god houses. Others consider the universe as one being. Some people even try to include Satanism into it but it's actually not ( as it's bible based ). To eliminate the confusion you should try to find an overview of a few forms & see what looks interesting & then study that one form. I couldn't tell you how to participate as it's a belief system. Much like just going to church doesn't actually make you a christian. You have to believe.

Try watching Dragnet (1987), they will inform you about what you may or may not be interested in.

Hey I'm just passing on some information. What was that they chanted.."People...Against...Goodness...And...Normalcy P,A,G,A,N...P,A,G,A,N!!!" I'm glad someone finally got the joke.

I asked that question a long time ago, and never really got an answer. Sorry I can't help you on that. I think I'll look it up in the bible, it might be there. :o)

I found it in the book of Deuteronomy in the Bible.Chapter 12- verse's 29,30, &31. When the Lord your God goes ahead of you and destroys the nations and you drive them out and live in their land, do not fall into the trap of following their customs and worshiping their gods. Do not inquire about their gods, saying, "How do these nations worship their gods? I want to follow their example". You must not worship the Lord your God the way the other nations worship their gods, for they perform for their gods every detesable act that the Lord hates. They even burn their sons and daughters as sacrifices to their gods.

Hi there! Sorry for the late, din see your post until now. We have an insider joke about how we define ourselves, 'Ask 200 pagans what is paganism and you'll get 400 answers'. This is because paganism is a very personal believe. It is often called a 'living religion' because it grows with the practitioner. In common usage, the term 'Paganism' is used in referral to 'Western Pagan believes', i.e. The worship of pre-Christian Gods and Goddess. The dictionary defines it otherwise, but millions of us around the world says differently XD Some dictionaries have already corrected that, we are just waiting for the hard heads to swing our way. Pagans are generally not satanist (though I have heard of a tiny minority of pagans who do scribe to that believe). The confusion is often due to limited understanding of our believes. If you would like more information, a good place to start will be http://www.witchvox.com The information you will find there is far from complete, but its a great start :) May that which you hold divine, be with you, always.
