Homemade mixes are so easy to make. I suggest you take a day and make all your mixes at once. Make sure you label each one. I also suggest you print out all the recipes that can be used with the mixes that you have made. This will save your family a lot of money on groceries. It is also more convenient and no preservatives are added. These recipes will use the All Purpose Convenient Mix found here: http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1401738.aspx You will need to make the mix before you begin these recipes. Oatmeal Muffins 1-1/2 cups All-Purpose Convenience Mix 1-1/2 cups rolled oats 1/3 cup sugar 1 egg 2/3 cup water Measure all dry ingredients, put into mixing bowl and stir well. Mix egg and water together in another bowl, then add the dry mixture all at once. Stir slightly. The mixture should be left lumpy. Fill oiled muffin cups 2/3 full. Bake at 425 degrees F for 18 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Oatmeal Muffin Variations: Raisin Oatmeal Muffins Add 1/2 cup raisins. Date Nut Oatmeal Muffins Add 1/4 cup chopped dates and 1/4 cup chopped nuts to the basic recipe.

I have been looking for a recipe to make for our Relief Society Celebrating Love activity. We all need to bring a treat that we are giving our family for Valentines and I had not decided what to make. It looks easy and moist. Thanks. I will let you know what all the sisters thought of it.
