hey, i'm from india.... and here we deal in rupees.... here $1= 43 - 48 Rs. (keeps varying) previously in my childhood........ getting about 40 rupees was really cool!.... it was like a dream..... but today.... u can hardly just manage to get a movie ticket!for the amount of work we put in ..... i dont think it is really worth - the money! but when u see that u can gain intellectually.... it really does pay..... take a look at some of teh hottest topics.... ucan see that people are asking solution to real time troubles! and it really does pay.... happy enlightment! bye.

I think that's pretty good that you can buy a movie ticket for the equivalent of $1.00. That's almost unheard of here in the US. I think the last movie I went to cost me $8.

it is nearly Rs 46 in INDIA and i'll buy 2 packets of navi cut by this.

1.00 is worth a double cheese burger from McDonalds. Or a Pepsi from the soda machine. You can't get too much from 1.00 these days

Amen to that. Don't you find it discouraging at how hard you have to work for that dollar and you only get a few bites or gulps from it?

Next question. What is $1.00 actually worth? When I was little I could have purchased 20 full-sized candy bars with a dollar. Now you can only buy about 2 little ones with your dollar. Thanks for your response.
