Don't you think we need Crash for more than 48 hours?

I actually didn't think that Crash was helpful that much. Most of his answers were politically correct and not really an answer to the question that the member had posted. I would have been happier had he actually answered questions out right instead of dodging them. Such as the question about why aren't people told the reason why they were banned. Crashed said that the person who was banned should already know why. Well apparently the person doesn't know why because they are asking why. I admit that Crash did give a few good answers but he dodged more then he answered.

i think he meant he would accept questions thrown at him within 48 hours. that means, he wouldn't entertain any questions after the alloted time. i think he will be here for a long time as long as myLot is here to improve the communication between myLot admin and us, myLotters. ^__^ i do agree with you that we need him for more than two days since we have lots of questions and we encounter some problems every now and then. so don't worry subha, crash will still be there after 48 hours. ^__^

Mylot might have introduced CRASH course for others, so that whatever topic not covered, can be asked here. I feel two things to be done: 1. The questions should be such that there is no answer in mylot guidelines and FAQs. 2. Secondly no one should ask questions which is already discussed by Mr. Crash. So before putting a question, they should read other's questions too. This saves his time as well as more opportunities are available and time can be saved.

See, people do not read the instructions properly. THey keep asking questions here in mylot and other members take pain to answer it. In fact the FAQ is qutie comprehensive. Well with all those questions being asked... i don't think 48 hours is enough... although i think this is a very nice gesture on the part of mylot... since a lot of question that are circulating here have been answered by Crash... I agree with you... we need him for more than 48 hours... so i hope this will be a regular thing...like once a month or even every other month...

I would rather if Crash actually answered our questions instead of doing the politicians favorite trick: Start with false enthusiasm, then say how great the system is and how foolproof it is, and then tell people the system is dependent on you. It works great to get votes, but when somebody asks how the rep system is calculated (first question in the thread) they don't want to hear about how foolproof the rep algorithms are and how important players are in keeping rep balanced, they want to see the rep systems algorithms.

Subha, I am already running late. I logged in after 2 days and here I get the alert. It sounds very interesting and fun thing but I have so many queries! Bit perplexed right now. Yes, definitely 24 hours is quite less a time. Till now, I was never bothered about mylot discussions when offline but Mr Crash has successfully encroached on my time out. *laughs*

Yeah, I totally agree with you that 48 hours are not enough and is nice to have longer times for us to put questions and get answers. This offers us a very good opportunity to know more about mylot and to raise any doubts and problems which couldn’t be solved through other sources.

Yes, I think crash is needed for more than just 48 hours. He should be here everyday so he can answer any of our questions or concerns. But then again with so many mylotters on here, it would be impossible for one person to be able to answer them all, so I can't really blame him for being on here for only a short time.

I have heard about this and I did not notice that Crash will only be available for 48 hours. You mean after 48 hours, he or she will be gone? Is that true? If that is the case, then I agree that he or she should be here each week. 48 hours each week would be good.

I haven't met crash yet. This is my first time on MyLot for over a week - been very sick with the cold from hell. I will reserve my judgement until later when I have had an experiene with Crash. The name is OK I guess but came at a bad time for me - had a dear long time friend killed in a 3 car Crash last Saturday.

Yes, I think so. If he can be available all the time, then it'll be great. After all, some people may be too busy lately, and therefore they will miss the chance to ask Crash questions.

Yes it would be Wonderful if Crash would stay available to members of myLot. This has been one of the biggest frustrations of this program. Nobody knew, and Everybody was speculating about how this program worked. This is so Great to finally have an expert to ask! I hope he will stay longer than 48 hours. I support you in calling for Crash to Stay!

I think crash should spend more time with myLot people since from what I have read, he was able to answer the important questions which are very useful to myLot people. Maybe he should set up like a twice a month set up or once a month set up so we all will be accommodated. Since there are people who may not be able to sign in within the 48 hours period due to work related activities.

HI subha...what more could anyone possibly ask him? Did you read all those questions? Surely eveything you want to know was asked and answered there? Some people didn't read the posts and asked questions that had already been asked and answered. This is just a waste of everyones time. It was sure good to see him here and have the opportunity to ask the questions and see the answers.

I think it would be great if they had someone on here all the time to answer questions or monitor things....help work thru problems.

Yeah I don't think 48hrs was enough you know how some of us take time off because of family things and want not I think Crash should do 48 hrs a couple of times this month in order to try and catch all the users who couldn't make it in the first 48. thank you and have a nice day.

I'm not aware of this concept and I'll want to learn more about it. May be he'l definitely help us more because whatever new concept is used in mylot, I believe it's always for the betterment of the users.

I've only joined myLot less than a month and I think we still need Crash for more than 48 hours. as a new member myself, I don't understand how myLot actually works and I get the glimpse of explanation after I read the discussion in Crash introduction thread. however, I feel 48 hours for a total is not enough, well we will need Crash for another 48 hours and another more, maybe at least 48 hours per month or per week as you suggested too.
