I don think there is nothing wrong with the way indians played. They played pretty well. Luck was not favouring indians. Thats all. When indians batted it was a 29 overs match so they played little slow. But when srilanka were playing they converted it into 20 overs match. It was not fair. Its like an one day international for india and a twenty twenty for them. I dont like this rule at all. 154(Target) was not a big score in twenty twenty. But its a very nice score for the 30 overs. So i will blame that DW par rule only and not the indians.

India lost thematch bcoz weather and attacking batting by jayasuriya in the initial overs.DILSHAN played very well.SREESANTH's performance was very very poor. There is lot of difference between batting for 29 overs and for 21 overs. The approach towards batting is totally different when batting for 21 overs.JAYASURIYA attacked the Indian bowlers and they got 45 runs in just 3 overs. This initial momentum was helpful for the other batsmen to score runs without taking too many risks.

india lost the match due to rain and duckworth -lewis system played key role in india's defeat today.... india played and bowled pretty well.....luck did not favor india today...... what ever it may be....it has opened up the tri-series..... may be india vs srilanka in the best of 3 finals........

i think India lost due to drop of overs if it would be 50 oVs India would have won comfortably.......
