I think they probably needs the most; yet, I doubt If you'd get a very warm reception what with the way peoples think these days. Unless you already work in a homeless shelter and have earned the trust of one. What do you say, do you consider hugging a homeless person?

Of course i would...People are people regardless..You never know about that persons back ground or even how they became a homeless person..Most of us have parents or siblings and have had a little support from our families, some more than others..This homeless person could just be a bum or a victim, you just never know...They may have been dumped like an animal on the street and just struggling to survive..But for the grace of God ,we could be that homeless person....We can never take for granted the blessing we recieve..Today we can be in a cosy little house ,tommorro we could become that homeless person that we thought we were to good to give a hug too..Never take for granted anything....

The only reason I would not want to hug a homeless person is because they may have tuberculosis or some other type of sickness or disease that I could catch.

although I haven't done it I think that I might do it, I did take in a homeless girl once and she lived with me for 4 months. I loved that girl so much

That is a hard call. Most of us here tend to think of the homeless as dirty beggers or worthless people. In truth a lot of these people are no different than we are. Many of us are just one paycheck away from disaster. Many homelss have already experienced that problem.I still wonder tho if I would feel comfortable hugging someone I did not know/

Yes, I would hug a homeless person. They need love and respect just as we do. I'd also buy a homeless person a meal or two. Hard times can fall upon anyone at anytime.

If that person needed a hig and was open to it I most probably would - a lot of people however do not like to be hugged by people - espescially people they don't know. I would however always make the effort to say hello and smile! xxx

Yeah I would hug a homeless person, they are human like the rest of us. Also they could do with the compassion from other people.
