This was seriously scary for me and nothing has ever happened like it before. I was getting ready for bed last night and went to clean my teeth. We have 6 of us in our house, so therefore 6 toothbrushes, so I walked into the bathroom, reached for my toothbrush and I couldnt remember which was mine!! Im serious, I couldnt remember the colour of it or nothing, so I did some deduction, 3 of the toothbrushes were childrens so they couldnt be mine and then that left 3 but I couldnt pick which was mine. They are all different colours and styles and not new so it wasnt because of that, it was scary. I told my mum today and she laughed and said it must have been a senior moment! But Mum Im only 34!! Yet straight away this morning I walked into the bathroom and picked my brush straight away, I knew it was the purple one. So has anything like this ever happened to anyone else? How did you feel?

That just happened to me the other week, and I'm 26! I went to brush my teeth and all I had to do was pick one out of 2. Mine and my husbands. one was purple and white, and the other was all purple(they were the only ones left of the kind i like at the store). I couldn't remember which one was which. thankfully, i picked the right one. lol. I didn't call it a senior moment, though. I referred to it as a blonde moment. But, moms are smart, so maybe it was a senior moment. That's odd that someone else has had the same thing happen to them. LOL. I didn't think it was possible that someone else would have the same moment as I. Maybe we were twins in another life. :D

I do ridiculous things like that all the time and I am only thirty! LOL It does make me wonder about myself...It can also be dangerous as I leave ovens on etc. and easily misplace things! I really have to try and be concious of what I am doing...I can be so absent minded!! ~Heavens~

Up until recently I was leaving the oven on quite a lot, but I am in the routine of double checking it now ( only because hubby gives me grief if I leave it on!)

i think you should see a doc. it might be a trivial thing but it is better to ease your mind.

So far this has not happened to me. I'm 46 though so I'm sure it will be coming soon. I'd keep track and if you are having any other memory problems you might want to get a check up. Better to be safe than sorry. I dont know if one incident is enough to worry over though. Maybe you were just over tired or had a taxing day.

I dont think it worried me so much as scared me it was a very strange feeling, the more I tried to remember which brush was mine the more I couldnt! I do have 4 children so maybe they had stressed me out a bit more than I thought.
