Have you done a RAOK in the past couple of days?? Random Act of Kindness

If we all could do this, our world would be such a much better place. Have you done anything for a total stranger in the past day or two? I did. I won tickets to a children's show, that we are not able to attend. I posted them on a group that I belong to, to see if anyone was interested in them. I could have offered them for sale but didn't. I gave them to a person who has a friend who is expecting and did her nursery theme in the theme of the show that is coming to town. Doesn't it give you such warm fuzzys to do something for a stranger?

You are so right the world would be so much better. That is great you shared the tickets. We are in Daytona Beach this week and so much is going on I have not thought much about what I have done this week. I always try to do things for others when I am home.

You are on the something here. I am from Newfoundland and Labrador, and I am not bragging when I saw the people there are seriously the nicest people in the world. Ask anyone who's been there. People do random acts of kindness daily! It's just something you are raised to learn and do without really thinking about it. Now I live in Ontario. And yeah the people here are nice as well, but it's different. When I hold the door open coming out of a store for the next person I don't even get a thank you. I will stop to let kids, elderly cross the road even if there is no crosswalk, meanwhile people are behind me honking their horns. I provide daycare at home, so I'm not outside a lot anymore, but when I do go out I like to take the time to make someone else's day brighter. Cause you never know what kind of day they are having you know? I have stopped to help someone change their flat tire...I have provided more money to someone in front of line who was a little short. I just like to help whenever I can. And my point...the crime rate in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada is among the lowest in North America. So, when I say you are on to something. You are. Pay it forward! Remember that movie?! I propose to anyone who reads this, make RAOK a daily thing everyday for you! Whenever you can help someone in any way. And let's see if we can change the world.
