I disagree with you, I'm afraid, Raj. The fact is, I'm not a Christian, I'm a Pagan. I do believe in God but not in the way Christians do. I believe our Super-Power is made up of many energies, which come together to balance the Universe. These energies, we see in human forms, as gods and goddesses, in order that we might perceive their existance, and the Christian God is one of these energies, but I don't believe there's one super human form controlling our lives. Much less do I believe that the controlling force of this Planet would ever judge us, if He/She loved us as His/Her own children. Suffice to say, most pagans don't believe in Hell either, nor do they support Satan. So how can you say we have gotten into bad habits? We respect the Earth, and all living things thereupon, and we read and gain wisdom all the time. We also don't judge other religions' beliefs to be wrong. Nobody is wrong in their beliefs... they go with what they find comfortable to them. We don't need to follow the demands of others as long as we are satisfied that we are doing the right thing by ourselves and by others inhabiting the same Planet. In other words, our ideal World would be one of love and peace, without religious differences. Brightest Blessings, my friend.

I don't believe in god because it makes not logical, rational sense to believe in some invisible deity. Why don't you believe in Greek or Roman or Egyptian gods. There is just as much proof of those gods as for the gods of the major religions today. All gods are myths and I choose to believe in none of the above. And just because I'm atheist doesn't mean my children will be. Hopefully they will be free thinkers and not believe but I can't assume that. My 7yo says she believes in god even though she knows almost nothing about religion.

Well its because how there raised. If they have parents that out athiest then there going to become athiest. And its hard to beleave in god at times like this seeing a lot of evil in the world and so many bad things happening. It really makes you wounder if there is a god or now but you still got to look at everything we have and everyone on our plannet. That god created us and not some big bang theroy.

I think many people, including me, don't believe in a "christian God" because there is not a lot of real evidence to support the bible and claims that god exists, I mean there's an awful lot of unanswered prayers, too.
