Real life friends thats what I mean. Those whom I do not know give me the boredom. Well, after adding them, we exchange some infos and thoughts. I find this very helpful from having homesick.

I was very, very late to explore the world of social networking. The only reason I ever did was because a friend of mine who is a musician was using it to promote her music, and so I got an account just to support her. As an artist myself, I use these sites mostly to promote my work and generate traffic to my websites. Like most artists, I have an accept-all-friend-requests policy. In small doses for work purposes, it can be effective. However, I never understood the point of it for social endeavors. If I want to stay in touch with friends, I use e-mail, or better yet, go meet them in real life. I don't have anything overtly personal on my profiles. I don't show off silly pictures and videos of myself and turn it into my very own "mutual admiration society" like the majority of the users seem to be doing... Granted, it can be fun at times, but those who are so addicted they are almost using Friendster/MySpace/Facebook/etc. as sort of an alternate life need to find something a little more meaningful in their lives... I wouldn't be surprised if people run out of things to do. As with any fad, it has its run, it's fun and entertaining, and then you gradually get bored with it until the next big thing takes over. JMO.

i know. it was great at first because i was able to find long lost friends from school (especially gradeschool friends who do not have e-mails when we were young so there's no way of getting in touch with them). i also like it before when justone post in the bulletin board and you can spread general assemblies for orgs, clubs, teams - now, with so many spammers.. no one seems to pay attention anymore..

friendster? cyber friend ? no no no no.....i like real a friend, although 1 friend. Friendster just like photos album. What are u doing in there? show off yourself. Make everyone interested you. No discussion, no share. just show off everything.

friendster is only for confidential so still i stick with friendster but i visit sometimes if i want to know the latest updates of my friends...the revenue of friendster might decrease nowadays because of some socialized site that now exist like yuwie.
