When someone lies and you caught him/her lying, will you still believe everything he/she says? Will you be doubtful of everything he/she says?Remember the story about they Boy Who Cried Wolf? He became a victim of his own lies... Well, for me, when I catch someone lying, I already become doubtful of everything he/she says.

I think initially, I would give them a second chance, but as you get to know a person you become aware of their personality and ability to be truthful. After the first lie, I would be weary. After the second I would be very distrustful and anything after that pretty much sets a pattern for what you can expect in the future. I would come to doubt the validity of anything they said from that point on.

A very natural response Dolce.Guess it all depends on how much time and effort you wish to put into these persons. From an very early age I experienced a great many lies, some extremely hurtful and damaging. What I do know is it was these very people who gave me the determination to seek the highest Truth I could find.To these people I say sincerly "Thank you for being my teacher"

I have habit of giving everyone a second chance and my trust in hard to gain back once its lost. I believe in giving everyone a second chance but when i catch them the second time around, then that would be the end of it and no one have even gained it back no matter how they tried. Trust once lost may never be gained back ever again so one should be careful not to loose it. As they say, nothing beats the truth.
