i enrolled my 5-yr old daughter in an arts school and for 2 months, they're taught dancing, singing, modeling and public speaking. at first, i was apprehensive that i might be exposing my daughter too early coz she refused to go inside the classroom. but later on, specially when she has tried one show already, she blossomed! during their third mall show, she wowed everyone in the audience with the way she belted out a song - with feelings at that! then when it was her turn to do the catwalk, people were applauding her! my husband and i were probably the proudest parents there that day!

Hi joshdale, it is indeed something to be proud of. I had read somewhere that the younger the brain, the better is its capacity to absorb knowledge and your daughter seems to have proved it. Congratulations to proud parents and blessings to little sweet lady........cheers.

thanks for that. i'd love to post a picture of her here just to show the world how special she is but for security reasons, i'd rather not. but, we're really very proud, it gets nerve-wracking sometimes because i can't imagine a life without her.

Please don't upload her picture, I will not do that ever.Just keep her close to your heart. Children are soul of parents, once children come into life of parents, they cannot think anything else but how to keep children happy and they keep worrying about children. All parents , specially mothers are same.....so don't worry , enjoy your today with her and stop worrying about tomorrow, because tomorrow will not come and "today's" are alway good.......so smile.......

Good for you. Children do need to get exposed to these things at an early age if we want to discover or enhance their talents. I can imagine the look of happiness on your face that day. I'm sure it's one of those unforgettable moments you would love to recollect someday when your daughter grows up.
