HiYa!!! Summer is coming and so are the mangoes. How you prefer eating the mangoes, cut into pieces or wash it and eat it with the juices flowing down your hand or making a juice or milkshake out of it?

That sounds really different than any way I've tried mango before. I would have never thought to put chili powder with it. Maybe I'll try that next time.

Yes I also like that. Raw mango with a little salt and chilli powder that to kilimookhu manga is the best for that.. Don't you think so? But I seem to prefer fruits nowadays better than raw ones. I seem to like pickles more. The ordinary mango picke , cutting them into very small ieces, add salt and chilli powder, mix well and then temper with mustard, asafoetida and a little fenugreek seeds. This is the best I can have and love to have with curd rice for chennai summer.

I love mango! We usually cut it into cubes, but that also leaves the seed (or do I call it a pit?) too, so I eat that just straight, sucking off the juice and remaining mango from it. That part is my favorite to eat. Mango juice and milkshakes are also really good, but fresh mango is the best I think. Mango rus is also really good.

I wish I could say that. But here it is around 30 degrees F and there are no mangoes ever. I love mangoes. Once a friend of mine from Trinidad brought me some mangoes picked from his own tree and they were the best. Here all mangoes have had something done to them and they are terrible. I don't buy them anymore as it is a waste of good money. Enjoy those wonderful delicious juicy mangoes!

It totally depends on the type of mango whether I want to cut it in pieaces & eat or the other ways. Here where I live, mangoes are available from Jan-Feb itself.

I eat them cubed and sometimes mixed with other fruits. They are also good in fruit smoothies. Our favorite is blending a banana, some strawberries and a mango with a little bit of orange juice.

its always great to have a good sweet mango in a hot summer day ... but i am hoping that this time the mangoes come out sweet and taste good. so far i have only about 7-8 mangoes this summer and they did not taste as sweet as i expected.
