romantic evening with my hubby. JUST BECAUSE!! No anniversary or birthday or holiday. Here is my problem..I have all the components candles, music, outfit...My hubby has no favorite meal. And he will tell you so. He is game for trying just about anything. I would prefer it not be too exotic as I am a good cook. Not a five star chef. We do pizza Fridays in our house so no pizza. Other than that I am open...

I make this all of the time. It is real easy and looks fancy. Good Luck. This serves 5 or 6. Just half the recipe. Spaghetti Carbonara "Fry up some bacon and scrambled eggs, then toss with cooked spaghetti, olive oil and Parmesan cheese for a quick, savory meal." 1 pound spaghetti 1 pound bacon, chopped 4 eggs, well beaten 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1/4 cup olive oil 1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain. 2. Meanwhile, place bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Drain, reserving some of the drippings, crumble and set aside. 3. Scramble eggs in bacon drippings. 4. Place spaghetti in a large bowl. Pour in olive oil, and mix well; use enough to just moisten spaghetti. Stir in bacon, eggs, and Parmesan cheese. Serve immediately.

I would make all aphrodisiacs. Like chocolate covered strawberries, oysters on the half shell if he will eat them, asparagus salad with walnut oil vinagrette, roasted ginger salmon with ginger soy butter sauce...basically anything that will get him in the mood to reward you for hours for all the thought and planning you put into this great idea!
