What was your first thought when your alarm rang this morning? Mine was, "Oh my goodness why did I stay up so late watching those three shows that I previously recorded?"

I do not have an alarm clock. Well I do it's my wife. She gets up each day at 7 a.m. by the alarm clock. I usually get up on my own. I don't even hear the alarm going off. But my first thoughts most days I wake up is, Dear Lord please help me stay clean and sober today. That's my thoughts each morning. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

My first thought was "I hope I set the alarm to go off early enough so that I can hit the snooze a few times before actually getting out of bed". My second thought was "Why is there a three year old laying here with her sweet little arms wrapped around my neck?" Ha Ha! Maybe that is why I did not sleep well last night-too many wiggleworms squirming around!

My alarm didn't ring this morning. I was awake and tossing and turning most of the night and just got up before it rang so it wouldn't wake the hubby. Most days, I think to myself, "Do I really have to get up and go?" Then I think"Yes you do if you want to keep your house!" Sometimes, I can't remember what day it is when the alarm rings and have to check my cell phone to see.

I forgot to set my alarm this morning, so when I woke at the right time my first thought was "oh my god I forgot to set the alarm." followed by "well at least I didn't oversleep."

I woke up and thought, "Do we have to get up or is the school on delay." It was on delay and then closed. The kids are out another day.

Mine was "I can sleep another half hour, and I am going to." I then reset the alarm.

Normally on a Friday it would be, I get to sleep in tomorrow. But today was I wanna go back to sleep, I have to much to do today. I have to bake 6 cakes, bake 72 rolls (I bought the rest already made), get groceries and take my kids to school.

I don't use an alarm clock and i'm normally up around 6am and happy as well. I've been unwell lately and not sleeping well so I've been sleeping later which is ok as there is no pressure for me to be up. This morning I was woken by a power tool next door at 7:20 am and one of my goats calling me. The law says that there should be no noise from power tools or lawn mowers etc till 8am. I was tired and cranky which was a rotten start to the day. So my first thought wasn't really coherent but I was feeling resentful.

My alarm clock is my son banging the kitchen cabinets getting his breakfast every morning. My first thought was "did I get to bed late last night, I feel so tired!" Then I answered myself "no, you went to bed at the right time, you need coffee right now". But those nights when I stay up late, I kick myself in the butt the next morning. By the first light of day, that time spent the previous evening is never worth it to me. whit
