How do I pick out the correct formula for my baby?

I breastfeed...but i wanna go out tonight for a few hours and don't have a pump handy... so how do I choose the right formula? My doctor isn't in, and the hospital said to pick whatever i wanted... the thing is, is they all have iron in them... i thought you werent supposed to give infants iron yet because it makes them consitpated?!?! help me prdy please!!!

Yikes! Been a long time since I had a little tiny one. I would call the hospital ER Peds dept and ask them about the iron issue. Call a few different hospitals. Sorry that I can't be of more help.
