hi roni!! ^__^ that was a very beautiful cross stitch! i like it! i'm sure your friend will love it. i didn't know you also cross stitch! i do too! but i haven't been cross-stitching for a long time because i have no extra free time for it. i haven't finished my prince of tennis cross stitch. ^__^;; so you're going to send your cross stitch to your Japanese friend in Japan? is she in Japan right now? i'm sure she'll be delighted when she sees your Japanese landscape cross stitch. it has a very good color combination. the picture blends well with the black background. ^__^

That is beautiful! Your friend is very lucky to have you as a friend, doing such a nice thing for her. I used to cross stitch too, and had several boxes of thread. I always thought it looked so pretty, all those colors lined up. I had to cut back on things and make a few $$$ a couple of years ago, and sold everything.

Hi there! That is a really beautiful cross stitch! I'm sure your Japanese friend will love it. Aside from its visible beauty, it is a labour of love or a work of love. It is something that you worked hard on and I'm sure your effort will be a lot more appreciated aside from the gift itself.

The cross stitch you have made is very pretty. I have also stitched some and they are at my place. Some of them I have given it to friends also. I use to crochet laces too. Nowadays I am not able to strain my eyes a lot. It starts burning. Your picture selection is very good and I am sure that your friend will love it. Go ahead and give it to her.

You have time on your side, you can learn even now.If you do it properly it comes out real beautiful. I had given away all of them. Now my children are asking me and I am not able to do it for them...

that's really sweet of you roni! it's so much effort to make a cross stitch. this reminds me of what i promised someone before. i promised two of my best friends that i would make cross-stitches for their weddings. but as time went by, i stopped making cross stitches so often myself. so when my friend got married in 2003, I didn't have time to do one for her as promised. the other one is not married yet so i might just get a chance to do it. i did make a cross stitch of a couple praying over a shovel stuck in the ground for an overseas couple who got married. i was so pleased with it too!

yes i spend almost 3-4 months doing that, because i need also to work and to do chores and take care of my children. i am happy for you and a lot of my friends here at mylot appreciating it. all the effort is worth it when people really praise something you work hard for. thank you very much

That is really a work of art. It's so beautiful roniroxas! I am sure that your Japanese friend would really love it! Is she the one you were referring to? I mean the one whom you will be touring in Manila? I remember from one of your posts that you were looking for places where you could bring your Japanese friend when she comes to the Philippines... She's lucky to have a friend like you!
