At The Risk Of Being Banned From Mylot!!!!

I hope that they don't kick me off, but these questions has been bugging me ever since Mylot made all of these changes. Do you think that clicking on some of these ads can cause us to get viruses? Do you think that some of them are only scams? I have seen a lot of these ads on other sites and as tempting as they look, I tend to avoid them out of fear. If these sites were somehow guaranteed to be safe and ligitimate, I would be a clicking fool. How do you feel?

It's really hard to say Rozie because anywhere in the net you can get a virus. Whether its opening an email or searching for something, you can get a virus. It pays to have virus protection put onto your computer in order to keep you safe and update it every time you get an alert saying it needs to be updated.

They are just flat out annoying to me, but that is my opinion. I do not mind the ones for ebay at the top of the page, matter of fact I have checked them out and I think I even purchased something as a result from it. But the ones in the middle of the page and especially the ones in the threads and responses, they are particularly annoying to me. Glad you brought this up. As for a virus, I don't know. Good point, I would not trust any site that you are not familar with. Also, always have a good virus protection program on your computer.
