A change I just noticed....is it new or did I never see it before?

Knowing me I just never noticed it before but I was just deleting friends who haven't been active in months and after scrolling all the way to the bottom of their pages to find the last time they logged on I noticed at the top of their profile page it actually says they have no activity for 60 days. Personally I think that's a big help and saves some time! Have you noticed this? Is it new or have I just missed it other times when I was deleting inactive friends from my list?

That's new. My Lot changed the profile and home pages. You can now see all of your or your friends activities.so if a person hasn't done anything in 60 days, it is shown on these pages.

I didn't like seeing all my activities. There wasn't a way to delete it if you wanted. I wrote to see if they could take it off my profile page and I must have been one of many because the next day there was an alert sent out that said that My Lot was going to be down so they could fix the activity page. Now you have the choice. You can have you profile the way it was before or have the activity page show.I deleted my activity page. I had a friend who deleted his too. I love that we have a choice.

Personally I think it's one of the best changes they have made.

It wasn't there before, just since they added the 'activities sortie' obviously they've only tracked that back 60 days because I know full well I've done way more than the 1400 some activites that show on mine. IT'S NEW :)

I didn't even look at my own activities! I just so happy not to have to go to the bottom of every page! :) This is a great new feature as far as I'm concerned.

I sure noticed mine and it was driving me crazy the first night - I had uploaded some photos, added and deleted some interests and the whole section was filled with that stuff. I've moved mine now so my discussions are at the top and I like that much more.

Well I certainly didn't notice, but I also don't delete friends for not being active. See, I was away for almost a year and I'm so thankful that none of my friends deleted me just because I was gone. When I came back I almost started deleting people of my list for not being active and then I thought..."well how do I know if they were in the same boat as I was in? What if they too lost their internet and don't have a way of getting back on?". Sure enough, two of my friends who hadn't been on in months (just about as long as I had been gone) came back 2 weeks later. MAN am I glad I didn't delete them!! So the way I look at it is you never know what the reason is for a person to not be active.

Same here Rosey. I don't delete people off my friends list due to them being inactive. It would have to be something worse than that for me to delete them from this list. Since joining mylot a year ago, I haven't been inactive for more than a few days, but it sure would make me feel bad if people deleted me from their friends list because I couldn't get on here for one reason or another after a certain amount of time. I've seen some mylotters come back after being gone a spell, and I'm glad I didn't delete them from my list or I most likely would have missed out on the discussions they started.

Ya, that was something I did have to do One, delete those that had been banned, but I felt awful doing it...like I was betraying them. So a couple I have kept up because I got really close to them, and it's like my little tribute to them, ya know. But that's really cool that the both of you also don't delete friends just because they have been away for a while. Being banned or a friend turn enemy turned worse are good reasons to delete them. I'm pretty selective in who I choose to be friends with, so I was extremely surprised and happy that I had all my friends still there when I came back.

That is new, but I am going to hold off on deletions due to the fact that I just heard from someone today who I had not heard from in several months. I never know when someone else is going to pop back back in. That may be where they are getting the statistic that only about one fifth of our members are active. I really have not been around to look at the changes. I just post to my e-mail notifications.

I never even turned my notifications on. I'm happier looking for discussions that interest me and keeping my email clean.

Oh I never noticed that but why delete your friends who have been inactive for 60 days? I have been gone for so long because I have been busy with work and all..Then I came back again to get my spirits high in here. Thanks for letting us know though. But all my friends are for keeps. :)

I never thought to delete inactive members. I would not do that though because I was personaly inactive for about two months I just had a lot on my plate, but now I am back and doing mylot just as hard if not even harder than what I did before I left. And thanks to my friends on mylot I was able to get back in the hang of things fast. Is there maybe a way to arange your friends so that they ones that are active will be on top?

Its definitely new ctry and was added when they made the recent changes to our profile pages. I like it too as I managed to delete quite a few inactive friends by reading that message.

I believe it may be new. I have never noticed it before and I am always deleting people who are no longer active. For me, it cuts down on a lot of confusion. I will have to go and check that out to be certain though.

I'm guessing this is new as I've never noticed this before. Then again I probably wouldn't have noticed it even if it wasn't new as I don't view others profiles often, except to add them to my friends list. Thanks for bringing it up as it is a good thing to know for those that want to delete inactive users from their friends list.

I have never noticed this either, ctry. I will have to check it out because it can become tedious going through all of your friends to see who has not been active for awhile. Thanks for the information.

I have not even seen this no activity reading, even now that you have told me about it. Mind you, I looked at your profile page and you are active so it wouldn't be there, now would it. I will have to check some others that are on my friends list to see if I can see it on any of theirs. I have to spend some time cleaning up my friends list because I know that I have 9 pages of friends and most of them don't respond to my discussions and I want to get rid of the ones that never respond to them. So I will check and see if I see this reading your talking about. I think it must be something new, as I have never seen it before, myself.
