It Was Because Of The Love Birds

Now don't you dare laugh, no matter how unbelievable this may seem. I saw the movie "The Birds," by: Alfred Hitchcock for the first time yesterday. I believe that the attacks were because of the sent of the love birds on Ms. Daniels. If you notice, she never changed her cloths throughout her time on the bay and the scent of those love birds was somehow on her the entire time. The birds attacked in every place that the love birds had been. They made such a big fuss about those two birds. But at the end when they FINALLY decided to leave town, the bird cage was covered.

My best friend watched that one on cable yesterday too. When I called and told her that I wanted to see a good movie, she told me what she was watching. She knows that I am scared of my own shadow, so she did not expect me to come up and watch it with her.

I remember watching that movie when I was a kid. Till this day I think of that movie when I see a bunch of birds sitting up on wires or in trees. I just told someone that I haven't seen that movie in so many years and would like to see it again.

I have had an experience like that. When I first moved to the place where I am now, three years ago. I was leaving my apartment and a black bird swooped down over my head a few times. It did not harm me, but it scared me but good. It was also doing this to others. I found out later that there was a baby bird in the area where I was headed and the bigger bird was trying to protect it. It happened a couple of times after that also. I am now frightened of all birds, even pigeons. What I do is put up my umbrella so that I can't see them getting close. This helps a lot. I didn't write about it in the topic, because I did before.

It came out in 1963 and I was born in 1969. It is a horror film, but an American classic. I sat through it and found it to be pretty enjoyable. I am just now getting interested in some of the old movies. I just saw "Gone With The Wind," for the first time about 4 years ago. You can't get more classic than that.
