help me pls.. nursing or nursing assistant

i'm kind of confuse ryt now.. i'm contemplating on continuing nursing or should i go for the nursing assistant..? i'm currently a 2nd yr BSN student but i can't take my NCM100 this summer because i still have other subjects that are left behind and if i can't take my NCM100 then i'll have to wait a whole year just to take that subject-which i think will be a waste of time.. so now i'm thinking of taking up a caregiver or nursing assistant course because i really want to work as soon as possible.. pls give me your opinions or advise regarding this matter.. thanks..
