I had never eaten a veggie burger until a few weeks ago at my brothers house. My sister-in-law made a pizza flavored veggie burger and my 13 month old daughter shared it with my niece. My daughter loved it. I bought some veggie burgers for my daughter the other day and while I was at it picked up some for myself. I bought the garden vegetable ones for my daughter and spicy black bean ones for myself. My daughter liked the garden veggie ones and the spicy black bean ones are great. Slap a slice of American cheese on it and it tastes like a bowl of chili on a bun. I just had the last one for lunch a little bit ago. Have you ever tried a veggie burger? Did you like it? Do you eat them often? What kind do you like?

Morning star products are pretty good. I have them at my house. I started having some problems with my stomach. So I had to find different ways to eat. I have had their corndogs. Yummy with mustard. The spicy black-bean burger is my favorite. I have some Morning star Chicken patties in the freezer, but haven't tried those yet. Maybe for dinner.

Let me know how they are. I might give the corn dogs a go. My son loves corn dogs, and I bet he would not even be able to tell.

Veggie burgers are awesome. I just wish they didn't cost so much to buy (still cheaper than the healthy frozen dinner my hubby likes). When I go to the store this weekend I am going to buy a box for myself for lunches all next week.

I was surprised at how good they are. They are an easy lunch for my baby too, so I think I will be keeping a box in the freezer from now on. I pay about $2.50 for 4 of them. I guess it is really not much more than you would pay for about that much ground beef if you were making real burgers.

We eat them all the time. We all love them. We usually get the PC style ones found at the superstore here in Nova Scotia. I think when we first tried them we didn't really care for them but over time we all got used to them. There are other meatless burgers out there too that you may find. Schneider's has a whole line of product.

I regularly make vegetable burgers at home. I prefer it to the burgers we buy outside and my kids love it. And since it's homemade, I know exactly what goes into it. I make the normal vegetable burger (with onions, green peas, potatoes, carrots, etc) and also make lentil ones(the bean kind). I make them from scratch. Though it's time consuming, it's not really difficult. And if I make one batch, I usually keep a part in the freezer to use later. We love them and tastes better than the store brought one too:)

Yes, and I like them fine! :) Like someone mentioned, though, even the supposedly "healthy" stuff at the store has added stuff in it that isn't good for us. But- it is a great start! I plan to try a few recipes to make my own veggie burgers- that will be fun and I hope it doesn't take too many recipes to find a good one! lol

Honestly, I'm not so familiar with veggie burgers. I guess they still aren't introduced here in our country. I also don't remember the brand you mentioned - Morningstar Farms. But if ever the time comes that it is already here in the Philippines, I believe that it will be well-loved by Filipinos, including me. Personally, I believe that this is a great substitute or alternative to burgers made from real ground beef and I perceive that they're much cheaper, too; aside from the fact that veggies are healthier than meat. I will be looking forward to meeting this type of burger here in our country. By the way, what veggies are included in this veggie burger?

My 91 year old mother is going to thank you; shes been telling me for ages that we should try veggie burgers but I've resisted, thinking they probably taste kind of like V-8 Juice on a bun...yuck! but you've made them sound good and if your daughter likes them, they must be good. The spicy black beans kind sounds like what I'd like. I'm going to try it and I'll be sure to let you know what I think. Annie

I love veggie burgers. Morningstar Farms Grillers are pretty good. I started getting them as an alternative to ground beef.

Morningstar makes good veggie products. I generally wait until they go on sale and then I buy some. I can't really buy veggie products all the time, because it gets expensive. I like the black bean and the pizza 'burgers.' I have also purchased the corn dogs, which are good, too. I know some industrious people probably have recipes for making tofu burgers, but I've never been that bold. :)

I like the Gardenburgers and the Boca Burgers frozen ones too. You have to watch the ingredients in even the supposedly healthy stuff out there - some still contain MSG and additives shame on them. Amy's kitchen has really good stuff but quite pricey for feeding more than one person. I used to make my own garden burgers out of a dry mix they used to sell, I think it was by Fantastic Foods. So many choices out there. whit
