Run For Someone Elses Health?

There are many runs and walks sponsored annually. These walks or runs are to show your support for various causes such as breast caner, lung cancer and AIDS, just to name a few. It is a way to feel like you are doing something about the disease as well as raise money for the cause. Many people say they feel better after they have walked or run for a cause. They feel like they have finally accepted that they have lost a family member to the disease. Have you ever ran or walked for a cause? Why did you do it? Did you feel better after you were finished?

I have never done it because I have never been able to run or walk far enough to complete the run but I do think it is a wonderful idea.

It seems like everytime I plan on walking, something happens that prevents me from doing it. I would love to do it though

I haven't ever done that, but I would love to be able to sometime. I think that it's a great way to support a cause and get some exercise at the same time.
