Oprah's new prime time show airs on March 2nd. Will you be watching?
"Oprah's Big Give™" the exciting and much-anticipated new primetime series that defies television convention with the bold idea of people competing to give rather than get, will premiere SUNDAY, MARCH 2 (9:00-10:02 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
In eight one-hour episodes, a diverse, determined and competitive group of ten people are given the challenge of a lifetime — to change the lives of complete strangers in the most creative and dramatic ways. In this intense competition, the contestants criss-cross the country, scrambling to find ways to impact the fates and fortunes of unsuspecting people who are in for the surprise of their lives. Lives will be changed in the blink of an eye as contestants race against time to create once-in-a-lifetime experiences and also give away hundreds of thousands of dollars. Who will be the lucky few to get a "Big Give"… and who will get all that cash?

I will probably watch it if it doesn't go up against Big Brother. Or I will tape it and watch it later. I thought the first episode was 2 hours long?
I understand that it will be an amazing thing to watch with your kids so that they will learn how good it is to give. That's why I want to watch it. I want to see how people are impacted by others' goodness. Some people don't give money, they give other stuff - like the shirt of his back - so I think it will be interesting to see the creativity at work.

If I watched more TV, I think I might be motivated to catch this one. I've started to think that Oprah really likes giving stuff away. That she likes making people happy, in that way. Not that she's a game show host, but -- I don't know. She seems to enjoy this. (She does it enough.)
At first, I assumed it was some sort of a publicity stunt or gimmick. But, now, I really think Oprah enjoys these giveaways.
