I obtained the first 5 books of the Left Behind series and have been reading them off and on (almost done with Book 1). I think there are 12 books in the series. Has anyone read the series yet? Do you see any of the signs of Revelation in today's news and modern life? What if someone you loved diappeared and you were Left Behind?

I didn't know they had a book series. I did watch the two movies and they definitely do make you think twice. All you have to do is look at the moral decline and contant wars around the world to realize we are definitely in our last days.

The movies were good (never did get to see number 3) but, like always, the book is far better. It gets into the mind of the characters and really digs deep into what the situation is. I think everyone should take the time to read good stories like Left Behind to know that God is still there and He has a plan in place whether we are ready for it or not. Do you belong to a church? What kind of things do you do for your community to help others?

Presently, I don't belong to any church. Over the past 2-1/2 years I've just been attending some of the local churches twice a month. As far as giving to the community, besides regular donations to charity, I coach little league teams. I do tee-ball and basketball. I'm hoping to sign up as an assistant coach this year and learn something about soccer so I can do that too. Ed

Those sound like very good activities to get involved in! Can you imagine the amount of kids that are without because there are not enough adults stepping up to volenteer and help? People are so busy today trying to make enough to survive on it may be hard to take time for other people. What if people could survive on one salary and volenteered someowhere doing something some time in the week helping others. Can you imagine what a great community and nation we would have?!?
