Gee maybe we should wish we are dyslexic..LOL..I just came across a website that list some other famous folk with dsylexia...Cher, Whoopi Goldberg, Jay Leno, Thomas Edison, Pablo Picasso, Richard Branson (founder of Virgin airlines, Alexander Graham Bell, Pierre Curie http://www.isnare.com/?aid=225870&ca=Wellness%2C+Fitness+and+Diet Well probably more, but gee if they were all able to become famous with a "problem" like dyslexia makes our problems of any kind seem insignificant, doesn't it?

A guy called Michel Apple wrote a book called The Gift of Dyslexia which makes exactly this point, rather than dyslexia being seen as a disorder it should be seen as the beginning of genius blessed be

Many very bright people were found to have dyslexia. I did read that Einstein had problems at school although I don't really know if it had to do with dyslexia or not. As for Da Vinci i've read that not only he might have been dyslexic, but he also had some characteristics that would diagnose him with ADD nowadays. Dyslexia certainly has nothing to do with intellectual capacity, and applies to reading / writing. Most studies suggest that people with dyslexia are from average or above average IQ. It also appears that it is more common in males than in females. SO that so many geniuses seem to have been dyslexic probably makes sense :)
