The person in the coffin....

So I know I have been wrong many many times but If the person in the coffin was someone that both Kate and Jack would know (and assuming its not Sayid or Hurley) then either its Ben (since we know he got off the island) or its one of the 2 oceanic six (if Aaron doesn't count) that haven't been revealed yet.
What if it is John??? What is your theory on who it could be? And why did Jack expect Kate to be there?

It was the season finale or it was Jack episode I can't remember for sure which one. He went to the viewing and the person told him no one had come. He asked about a woman (assuming it was Kate on that one)

Oh! I remember now! I have no idea who that was in the coffin! I forgot about that part. ! have the world's worst memory! LOL! Thank you for reminding me! LOL! Sorry that I don't have any insight as to who it might have been. Perhaps Sawyer. Or, since Aaron is Kate's now, maybe it was Claire.

The more I watch this season, the more I think it is Ben in the coffin, but I'm pretty sure that the Lost writers are going to put a big twist on this. Or, they may never tell us. I wonder if they are going to make a twist on Ben's side of the story to get us to think Ben's a good guy afterall.

I will not be very pleased with the show if after all of this creepy Ben is the good guy. BUT at the same time Mr. Widmore is a creep too. LOL

i was just wondering, why is it that all of a sudden, this "who is in the coffin" has become a popular topic when it has been long since that episode has been played. What was it's significance to season 4? I've have also read other Lost forum and has seen quite a few topic about who might be in the coffin. i just dont get it. can someone please enlighten me? :)

I'm guessing it would have to be either Ben or Locke. Mostly because of Jack's comment that the person in the coffin was neither a "friend or a family member". Seeing as Ben is the bad guy and Jack and Locke aren't exactly on the best of terms right now, those are the only two people who come to mind. Can't wait for Thursday's episode.
