changing season

My husband is out again early this morning to shovel the snow on our garage roof. We accumulated a foot of snow yesterday. Todate, Maine had over 120 inches of snow this winter. The snow bank is taller than the road signs and turning on corners is getting more dangerous because you can't see the road much less the vehicle come from both sides.
This is my first winter. From where I came from we only have 2 seasons... WET AND DRY. So far I survived 3 season already since I come here in the US. I am looking forward to Spring which will be in 3 weeks time.
Winter is my favorite season so far.

I miss that too, especially dry season now that it's winter here. I hate rainy too especially the typhone season, it's a good thing that in my hometown, we don't get flood. that is one thing i dont like about rainy season there. thanks my friend.

somethimes I miss the europian winters we dont get snow here in australia (well at least not where I live anyway) I miss waking up in the morning and the first thing I would see the lovely glow from out side and the air smelled so nice. But then I remember falling million times on my way too school, and remember how cold it was and wet and dark and then I dont miss it at all.

I understand. I had a chance to go to Australia too and the weather is just like in the country I came for. One difference is... the season is the opposite here. It's summer there when it is winter here. Thanks.

Sounds like you have had an awful lot of snow. Where I live we have had none so far this winter, thank goodness I hate it. We have had rain and high winds and it has been cold but thats about it I just hope we get a good summer. My favourite season is spring, when the clocks change and it stays lighter for longer and all the lovely spring flowers come out and the chill goes out of the air and you get those lovely warm spring days, its definately my favourite time of year.

Lots of Americans hate snow because it's a lot of work. And I can't blame them. Maybe I just like it for now because it's new to me. thanks.
