I am sick and tired of them. My real life friend is totaly hooked up on them and sends me at leats 3 every day and I have told her to stop but she sais "I have to fill the numbers or something bad will happen to me" she asla sais "you dont have to open them if you dont like them" well sure but I have to delite them every day. I cant block her as we send photos and stuff to each other a lot. The last one is about the life is beautiful virus and she totaly belives it true even after I send her info that it is not.

I get tons of e-mails like this from my friends also. And I also understand how you can't block them because you also get things you want from them. It is very frustrating, especially when you've told them that something is a hoax or a waste of time. My uncle does the same thing to me. I have tried to tell him to check something out on snopes.com or somewhere like that before he send it out to the whole universe, junking up our inboxes. He just doesn't get it either.

I tell all my friends/family that if the e-mail says "Send this to everyone you know" or "URGENT", chances are it's a hoax (or virus).

I totally agree. As if there isn't enough crap in our email already. If someone is going through the trouble of forwarding them you can actually write something. Therefore give your friend this alternative. Make a crap email address @ hotmail or yahoo. Then tell her to send her trash to that email address. Anything important to the other one. LOL

I hate those things! I have an in-law who sends them to me all the time. I have told her how I feel and that I refuse to forward them to anyone but she still does it. I think it's just because I am on her email list and she forwards them to her whole list. The only way to stop her is to block her from my email and I really don't want to do that. Now I just look at the subject and if it says "fwd" I just delete it without even opening it.

It is not something worth loosing a friend or family for. But I honestly dont feel right sending them to anyone so the chain "stops" with me.

you know what even my sons playgroup teacher used to send them to me a lot. Than one day I just told her that my e-mail was given to her as a profesional thing not for her personal amusment and wth that she was breaching 100 rules and sending my name and my e-mail to everyone. she stoped after that.
