Fat, or thin.

Do you think that because your either fat, or thin, this restricts you from finding your ideal partner ?

I don't think he asked if it should matter... more about whether you personally feel that your weight, whatever it is, does influence your ability to find a partner. Lots of things shouldn't matter, but yet exist, matter, and impact the real world anyway.

I feel that if I were overweight, it would restrict my dating options. Many people do not give overweight people as much of a chance. I, however, have dated overweight men, and the weight has nothing to do with my choice in partners.

No, I don't think so. Of the two of us, my husband is more overweight, and was slightly overweight when I met him. I think someone who is overweight and doesn't let it affect their confidence can be very attractive.

Personally, it doesn't matter to me. I don't think it should make a difference to others either. However, being realistic, it seems to bother a lot of people. Maturatiy plays a big part in this too.
