I give up!

after a year of researching on how to make money in the net and how to increase your visitors in your blog, SEO, website development and a lot of those mambo jumbos where everyone claiming that works, i finally gave up! it is too much already. i started deleting all my special bookmarks and just limit it to simple things i want and need. anyway, now i know and i realized that it is not for me. i came to the point that most of the sites and so called gurus are bogus. it is really hard to make and do business in the net, it is better to make money in the real world where in the virtual world you have to be very lucky.from now on, i won't be following on how to do this and that anymore, i will be doing things my own way and just enjoy doing some blogs on my own. no more keywords and where to and how to optimize my blogs. i am sick and tired of all of it and it's a waste of time.

I image that its very difficult to make "easy" money, on the web. I think that if you are serious about cashing in, you must spend diligent heavy time, and must be very knowledgeable about the workings of the internet. You must know how to make a buisness, and not just endevour to find good "paysights". That is why, for me, its not a good way of making money.

it is not getting into the penny earners such as GPT's but the real score of really diving into the programs of getting your hands dirty like blogging, webhosting, buying and selling domains, listbuilding and stuff. so much to learn, you got to be a jedi knight to do all of these things.

don't get me wrong , those are penny earners. my point is the real money makers. those penny earners are given that they really do s***.

I totally understand where you are coming from, I often feel the same way at times. But, this is what I want, I love the internet and all it has to offer as well as I love learning. I did however have to find and set my limits and the best way I did this was the KISS principle (keep it simple stupid). Using this I am still working, not stressing so much, and learn as I feel picking up little bit here and there as I feel fit. Sounds strange but I'm actually doing better this way financially than when I was stressing trying to do every thing 'exactly right'.

I am working in a big company, and take making money from the net as my part-time job, that is just want to increase my spending. I am not professional at the computer field,so i think i only can make a little money from that. If you can use your spare time to do this ,your despair will not exceed the expectation. Hope you enjoy everyday!

what you are doing now is also what I hope. Earning money on net looks so pretty that I still can't give it up though I find it wasting time. Just treat it as an online game then I will feel good.

i think we can't expect to earn big money by it, just think it's one of my hobbie and the money is the extra befinets. unless you managed to do the business, so that's another story.

i am not to discourage anyone who would want to venture into making money int he internet. i am actually encouraging all newbies who would like to try it out . it is very exciting but for me who needs cash , this is not for me because this entails a lot of investment on my part which is time itself and i can not wait that long, i will have to do this on the side until it becomes lucrative. go for it , do not be affected by what i said. sorry, if i made you feel this way. you may have the time and patience and itelligence to do this and you might be one of the lucky one which i sense you will make and if you make it , please, drop me a line because i would like to know if you made it to the top. i urge you to go for it. i can even help and teach you how.PM me if you have any questions and i will provide you secret answers which most so called gurus does not want to tell us.

Welcome back to the real world... I could have told you so... I tried for six years with a real business. You have a slight chance with a proper website and your own domain. With a free website or a blog... your chances are less than zero.

I have actually given up a long time ago. I find that they are all bogus too and I realized too that its not for me. I am not the type too who would invest much on such things since one mylotter once posted that if one really wanted to make money, one has to have some investments and I am not willing to risk that over the net. I have been doing things my way for some time now and I stay on sites because I enjoy being on the site and not because I expect to earn big money.

same here, i am not that confident in risking my financial investment in the net and aside from that my time investment. it is really different doing the traditional way of making money. it is sure fire with all the effort to be done.thanks

I sort of have that feeling too! Now I have a job and I don't really think about making money online that much! It's fun once in awhile and there are a couple sites I am still sticking with but I am not really crazy about making money online. I guess I still prefer to work in the real world and have my salary every month!

i guess now that we both have our real world jobs we can now just let our cyber work just make it through its own without any stress effort. we just update our sites whatever we can and whenever we can since we are not so focused on earning on the net.thanks for answering.

you are correct, reminding me of the 20/80 principle in life where we have to work 20% to get the 80% we need. there is an easier way to make money but definitely not in the net, it is still in the real world.

I know exactly where you're coming from! I was just thinking about how hard it is to make a good amount of money online. I'm so frustrated! I too am sick and tired of sites teling me how easy and affordable is it to make serious money online! That simply isn't true! I don't know what to do! I keep telling myself that I can't give up and there has to be an easier way to make money with my blog. Can someone help me?

my friend, there is . the money is just there for the taking, believe it. do you know the 80/20 principle where you put in 20% of work to get an 80% result? in this case, internet marketing is not for me , there is an easier way to get that money in the air.thanks for dropping by and participate in the discussion.

It is difficult to earn so much money on the net.And the time we put it seems unequal to how much money we earn. And I think it is so tired as you .

I know what u felt... I've been with Building blogs... involve with social networking... ect... Just to have income online... But nothing happens... I often dismay with the result... But in the long run... Having this makes me discover things where I can use my spare time... & make myself more creative & productive one... By means of wide coverage in Net Surfing... I can make some odd good stuff... Creating Special Paper & Photo Editing... Some sort of Web research for student... As well as Typing Job.... & with this, I can make money with my own strength... And my means of mylot... I can find here some good Ideas... That can help with some of my works... Some are Funny, Sad, Critics, heart warming & Some informative updates with everything... as well us can share & elaborate things that keeps bugging in me..:)

Have you tried some search for earns such as the new "mysearchfunds"? Actually I also feel that to make money in the net is so hard that every thing in the real world seems easier than it. Well, I just have no much time, so I don't have any help of that. But also, I find it's hard to get money no matter one is a boss or not.

you know what , i am in that state where you are in now but it still needs some honing on my part to refine those rough edges i have been carrying around. i totally agree with your principle by just finding my center and just doing the things that would satisfy me.thank you my friend for reminding me.
