I don't think he'll be too old. The reason is that he's supposed to be like 18 in the last book, right? (or is it 17?) and most boys are fully grown by then. He'll be older for sure, but I think he'll be fine. I'm sure they'll still dress him in "teenage" type clothes, and he'll be able to handle the acting for sure!

Oh yeah, another point- I think we'd ALL be pissed off if they found another actor to do it! It would totally ruin the series.... which is why Daniel is making millions more than the others! ALTHOUGH - the movies could do without the others either!

Yes, I think he's getting too old for the movies, but we can't deny that it'll be hard replacing him for the role of Harry. I think they will make him look young--just as he had in Prisoner of Azkaban. Besides, during the fight scenes he's always dirty and filthy, and his face covered in soot and dirt, no one will notice... (^_,^) but for the most part I think they should do the scenes quickly, because he's already getting old. He should be able to accept some other mature roles other than HP.

I don't think he will be too old. In the book the characters grow up every year, and so do the actors. At least the movies are coming out every year and not waiting longer to be released.

hes the best fit for harry, hes just fine it'll never be the same again if they replace him, people feel in love at him when he was just a boy in the first book, they watch him grew up in the series of this movies and they still adored him until the last movie comes up and he is then a full grown wizard. :-)

Ya he is going to be too old to play his character. But as long as he does not look as old as he is its alright. I am more concerned about Hermoine. I dont think that she would convince anybody that she is only as old as her charecter.

the harry potter films will never be the same if they replace daniel radcliffe. so, no, i don't think daniel is too old for the role of harry. the character of harry also grow old so it's just normal. we all know daniel radcliffe as harry potter from the start so he's the only one who deserve the role.

I don't care he is soooo hott! They have to keep him I honestly don't care if he is too old he is still nice to look at! It will not bother me in the slightest and they only have two more movies, might as well finish the series up with the same main actors.

What I like about Daniel Radcliff and all the other characters getting older in the movies is that it better represents the growing and comming of age of the characters than in the book. I know that the character increase a year in age in the books but it does not translate as well to my mind as visually seeing it on the big screan does. Daniel also looks his age or perhaps a little bit younger, he certainly does not look old for his age and I think that his age will not be a significant problem while filming the movie as with make up and touching up the film they can eliminate any specific features that make him look older than Harry Potter.

i don thin they wud delay the movie to such an extent n moreover am sure danielle wud luk gud even if he's a bit old... harry potter can certainly not b associated with any othr guy except him.. he has always defined his character to perfection...

anybody who has ever read the books understand that the characters grow and age every year. Starting with a young actor and growing along with the movies was the best decision they could have made. although he is a bit older than the character, he still is not "too old" or doesn't look the part.

I do not think he is too old either... there are tons of movie out there that a 30 years old playing a role as a 22 or so, many people look much younger their own age ^^

Age-wise he is old for the character, but just look at his face! He's so still very cute, adorable and baby=like, not to mention very goodlooking. Well, Hollyword has very talented makeup artists, I am sure they can do something to Daniel to make him look much younger and innocent.

I don't think Daniel is too old. I think he is of course looking older than in the first movie but it the books he is around but Daniels age. It will be good for the last movie because then they can do the 19 years later part. So, at the moment i think he is the right age for the job. It will be a little weird if he get replaced, wouldn't it? For him and Emma, and (well, i can never remember rons name) oh well. It will be weird for them because they have all got to know Daniel so well and he has grown up on harry potter so then again he we feel a little bit weird, maybe a tad bit rejected. So i think he is still ok.

I can't imagine a different actor a different actor as Harry Potter... he is so good in it... and i don't think he can be too old for the part... and J.K. Rowling and the producers think like that too... He was already in the first 5 films... and is currently doing the 6th... so there is very little chance for a different actor to get the Harry Potter role in the 7th film...

i dont think he would look old he is charming though he may look elderly but his looks and action are goin to be more elevated than all the movies i think the 6th book has a lot of secrets getting unraveled and i am awaiting for the movie because i have read the book and i badly want to see it on the screens. emma is the first person i want to see in the movie, she is growing more and more cuter day by day

The characters grow old in the story, so the actors should too. I think some of us feel that Daniel and co. are already too old to play the roles because we're used to seeing them that young in the former movies.
