I would disagree. There are two rules of thought about why we are at war. But I subscribe to this one. We are at war for the soul of human kind. We need to use our considerable strength to be stop world poverty. We need to use our considerable strength to spread democracy. If the rest of the world is tired and lazy and it falls to just me then so be it. I will stand and there are people who are like me who will stand with me to do what is right...even if you will not You see it takes courage to do what the US is doing. So you can be with us or against us, but I have risked my life over and over again so that you can be ignorant and intolerant if you wish.

Ignorance is not part of the eqaution I was a soldier as well but strength is relative my comment was not directed to the US and there war on terror there have been wars. Wars in the middle east have been going on since the seventh century and technically longer. The war really comes down in my opinion to a difference of opinion between two major religion and there affiliates the war you fought now is just an extention of the crusade in truer form. On a side note there was another man who wanted to bring truth and freedom to the world and he states it in his own personal journal ... His name was Adolf Hitler.

Who sounds like Adolf Hitler now! Seems to me that you are resorting to his tactics.

I am not sure what that was supposed to mean but I am not a Nazi if that is what you are saying nor did I attempted any Blitzkrieg tactics in the past few weeks. I think that the mission to Afganistan had a purpose a good percentage of the people in Afganistan wanted us there that is well and good. As for Iraq when Saddam refused to show us the "weapons of mass destruction" that was not an excuse to go to war. Prior to the war the Iraqi's had not shown any aggression to the west in quite some time like ten years during the first gulf war which was fully justified. Long story short there where no weapons of mass destruction which would explain why Saddam had a hard time showing them too us. Though Saddam was a ruthless ruler ranking pretty high up on the attrocity scale with Stalen and Hitler we must also look at how Saddam came to power. Saddam Hussien was not always the leader of Iraq ... American tax dollars and weapons pu him incharge to help fight the Iraq-Iran war and that is a fact so we forced a dictator on them once which is probably why the fear our new bout at forcing democracy on them. You can't force your opinions on people about things they do not fully understand!
