what is Ubuntu?

I've some problem my OS in here, then my friends advise me to use UBUNTU operating system. he said more stable, more reliable.
I try to check at website but I can't reach the http://www.ubuntu.com
not all website I can visited.
Do anyone have ever use the Ubuntu, is it really a good OS?

ubuntu is one of the free open source software it available for free ubuntu has available in many versions.It is available for free by registering your address in ubuntu.com they send you the CD for free of cost.
