Do you use store bought shampoo or do you buy it at a hairdressing shop? And if you buy it at a store do you care what brand you buy? Do you just buy the cheapest brand or are you paticular in the brand you want? I get my shampoo and cream rinse from my sister since she owns her own salon and I don't have to pay for it. She buys them in big containers and then I take little containers with me to her shop and she fills them up for me. I know I am using good shampoo and since I live in the country I need a good shampoo because I am washing my hair with well water and it leaves deposits on my hair. So I do need a good shampoo to get the chalky substance out of my hair.

I buy a differant brand just about everytime I go to the store. If the I go to the salon and they are running a deal I pick up some at the salon. It just depends on my mood and where I am going when it is time to buy shampoo.

I like vo5 shampoo, it is inexpensive and works well, lots of lather. If you find you have a residue left after shampooing your hair try a lemmon and water or vinagar and water rise. This will take the residue out and leave your hair shiney.

I am a firm user of Sauve shapoo. It depends on my mood what fragrance I use. This week it is the Lavender one with the matching conditioner. I do not understand why I always use this particular brand, but my hair looks and feels wonderful. It is very nice of your sister to do this for you. Yes, being with the country, the water can mess with your hair.

Hello chrislotz. I always buy my shampoo in the supermarkets where there are so many different brands on those racks. I usually buy those good brands that I have been used to,like Shoulders, Panteen and so on. I do not like those poor-quality ones, which only makes my hair feel not smooth.

I always get my shampoo from a supermarket but not always the cheapest, I try and make sure that I get one that is on offer but I dont ever get shops on brand as I have found that they give me a rash on my scalp, but I am not sure why this is. My mum always get stuff from her hairdressers and I have used it in the past and to be honest for the money she pays there is no difference in the brand stuff I get from the shops and it's at half the price. I think what shampoo you get needs to also reflect on your hair type as well as this will be the only way to get the best results,so if you have coloured hair then get a shampoo and conditioner that is for that type of hair as this is the only thing I think is importnat

I order my shampoo from an all-natural company on-line. This stuff has been great for my hair. I also have well water and most shampoos break up since the water is so hard. This stuff doesn't. I also like the fact that I haven't cut my hair in almost a year and I still have no split ends. It really does a great job at taking care of my hair.

Usually I get my supply of shampoo from the store. And I don't stick to a particular brand. This is because I discovered that shampoos lose it's promised benefits with continuous use. So what I do is change brand every now and then and do not be afraid to experiment on new brand of shampoos.

Wow, good for you to have a sister who owns a salon. I usually buy better shampoos at some skin care stores, or even in salons. I care about my hair too much and when I was younger, I used cheaper shampoos and I didn't think they work right. So now I usually use some natural brand shampoos and conditioners, they work much better.

I usually use cheap shampoo from wal-mart or similiar store...sometimes i'll go for the generic of something like pantene pro-v, other times i head straight for the vo5 or suave. I never was a big fan of salon shampoo...we did buy it once from a lady who used to cut my hair and her's was actually good, but some of them kind of smell weird. My cousin gave me half a bottle of her shampoo after she shaved her head (that's a long story we won't get into, lol) but I couldn't stand it. I like it to smell fresh and clean! Not like rotten eggs! You are in some ways lucky to have well water, depending on what kind of well water you have. My parents have an artisan well, which is kind of shallow, fed by a spring, and is filtered through layers and layers of sandstone to give you the best water you've ever had. You feel so clean using it and it's the only water I like the taste of. I did move once to a place with terrible well water once though - it turned everything orange!!! I couldn't drink it or even brush my teeth with it. It was awful trying to shower in it. We had to change this filter system thing every week, talk about a pain!! It ruined many things. We had to go to a laundromat! Currently where we live we have public water. In some ways this is a relief - you don't have to worry about running out of water ever! But the taste is awful...I still can't drink it. My hubby has grown up on public water all his life, so he thinks ours is good in comparison to the others he's had.

I use Aveda which you can only buy in a salon or an actual Aveda store like in the mall. It has been the best for my hair. I do like the Dove products too but it seems like it weakens my hair a little so, I stopped using it. But, as far as how Dove made my hair feel, I really liked it. Once in a while, I will use another store bought shampoo because it is good to do now and then to prevent build up of your regular shampoo. I am not entirely sure why that is, I only know that there is an obvious difference in my hair for a couple weeks after I change shampoos for a couple days before going back to my regular stuff.

I'm not picky about shampoo, just as long as it works and keeps my hair clean. What I use is generally just head and shoulders... it has a nice smell, fairly cheap, comes in many different versions for different people, and easily found! Not really into that fancy hairdresser shampoo and what not. Not like I really have much hair to wash anyways, lol.

I never tried buying shampoo at some hairdressing shop. I think their products are more expensive than at the market. I buy shampoo depending on what my hair prefers or what I feel like that my hair won't go stiff or something. It's not the cheapest nor the most expensive in the market, I say it really depends..

Shampoo, I tell you this is such a trial for me, I have never ever found a shampoo that suits my hair or does anything for it. I have dyed hair, at the minute its blonde, but it also has a kinky wave in it, its healthy at the top and dry at the tips. I have tried every single shampoo going I think! I just go to the supermarkets and chemists and buy it from there, I usually look for any offers on it though as it can be expensive, and I always try to buy the shampoo and then the same conditioner to go with it.

normally i buy shampoo from Medical store, as i look for quality. and along with that i have been suffering from hair loss problems, so i use doctor advised shampoo, normally its bit costly, however i do not compromise with the the quality i have used sub standard products in the past and been victim of them, now i am all the more critical. When it comes to hair.

Well, I have to buy three types of shampoo. One type is for my children, they like the sweet fragrant and bubbly ones. That would be the Komodo brand. My hubby loves Vidal Sassoon, been using for a while now and says that it suits him. And as for me, I LOVE DOVE, it's soft, smooth and sweet-smelling. The shampoo budget every month is not sweet-smelling though. he he
