Its common in India to have giant billboards and sign boards and ads on the roads where you drive. I find it a nuisance and I know drivers get distracted. If it is known to cause accidents then why doesnt the government ban them totally? What are you experiences? Hows the situation in your country?

I drive quite carefully and I do not read bill boards while driving. I might read all the details when I am being driven. What is distracting me is the erratic driving by other drivers which really disturbs me. But then this lot has experienced, beginners and just completed the test. So one has to be careful in driving. Of late the drivers with cellphone talking is the great worry.

In countries like India, another nuisance in night driving is drunkards driving the vehicle. You do not know whether they want to take right or left turn. They park the vehicle at places where there is no indication for vehicle owners comeing behind them. The police are unable to catch them.
