Is ten thousand dollars enough for you?

I would love to have 10,000 dollars right now! Heck id even be happy with 1000 lol. Ive been trying my butt off to come up with money for a small trip to see some friends and its just so dang hard! but thats what sucks about being "poor".

It depends on where the ten thousand dollars is. If it is inside the retirement funds, then it is certainly not enough for old age. If it is in the savings account, you have to work more to save more. If it is in the current account, you can afford a few luxuries. Lastly, if it is in your pockets, my, you can certainly indulge yourself.

In my country, it may not be enough to buy me a house and lot but I guess it's something else to start a small business that I can make it grow. Money, nowadays, is hard earned. We really need to make it grow for it to be enough. The little that you have when you invest it right, can be enough! Enjoy it while its there. When it's gone, it's another thing!

Hello ngf. However much you have, you still feel that you don't have enough. Why? When we buy something expensive, the money goes in no time, leaving us little left. With more money, you will have more different ideas for the use of the money. So to some degree, we have become a slave to money. We have to, as everything nowadays is on the high side. There is nothing cheaper now, compared with what we consumed in the old days before the price is on the rise. I think that it will never satisfy our needs with however much we have. Thanks.

Well, hello friend. I like to live in a house, but I would not own it. I have recently found an appartment in a house that I am going to move in to in a few weeks. Then thousand dollars for me is 60 000 sek in Sweden. Would that be enough for me....oh yeas, I would use that money to get of loans I have and use my paychecks from work for investments instead of paying old debts. I have no idea of the prices in houses in other parts of the world. But it would not be enough here in Sweden either. You are not alone struggling with budgets.

there is no contentment! all people are like that, if they got their dreams next would be the higher one...no satisfaction at all...that's the reality that we all people have an attitude of being unsatisfied inspite of the accomplishment we meet.

That would only cover my husbands back debt. That is not including my debt. $10,000 is not nearly enough to do much of anything with in this day.

I am afraid to say that ten thousand dollars isn't enough for us. Today many things' prices keep increasing. And the education and health care charges are quite expensive today. And you know, the food, electricity, gas and water fee is increasing too.

Money is something we will never complain the much of it BUT more on the lack of it. IMO, if you have that amount in your savings then you should consider yourself better off to those who doesn't as I am sure it is evidently so with your country. I do agree that our lives is evolving around the scarcity issues of today and hence we need to work smart nowadays and ever more so be prudent with our finances. Don't compare yourself with the rest of the people, just be more practical and life will certainly be much better off. Just my 2 cents worth.

Money is never enough for anybody.. And nope...ten thousand dollars is hardly enough....its quite a lot, but very lacking to lead a carefree life....I think few hundred thouands may be enough to get by... If I were you, I would invest the money and get high returns from it....

ten thousand now in China can purchase "half kichen" or "whole toilet" of a suit of department. far from enough. invest it into forex market and try to earn more~
