Baby with colic...

Two out of the three of my kids had it and had it very bad. My oldest I would be up walking all night because this is the only thing that would calm him down. It lasted for six months. My youngest, my daughter, had it for about 3 months and the only thing that would calm her down was to go outside and sit on the swing or to walk her around outside. if i came back in the screaming would start all over again for hours at a time. Just depends on the baby really, but walking them around and preferably outside for them helps sooth their stomachs. It's a stomach disorder and is very painful for babies. They have other stuff out, like Tummy soothers and colic tablets now. I tried those on my daughter and while they worked somewhat the walking is what really did it and being outside. good luck and God bless

My wee sister had really bad colic and to be honest we never found a remedy that worked. We used to give her a little tiny bit of whiskey just to get a few hours out of her but she was so bad she was keeping the whole house awake for nights on end.
