hi friend, the best way to reuce cholesterin in blood is to eat raw garlic. studies has proved that eating more garlic can reduce cholesterin remarkabely wihin a week. but the only side effect it has is bad breath.

All you do only eat more vegetable and fruit. You can eat them as salad, or juice for fruit. You should avoid to eat something fry, or any oily food, soft drink, and other fast food and salty food. Better eat something boiled. Eat food contains fiber... oat meal also good. Dont eat chocolate, sweets, ice cream, and other high calorie and fats...

Hello,Sophia! besides taking regular medicines your father may remain on diet for some days or till the cholesterol levels come down to its normal levels.request him to consume at least a clove of garlic in the morning in empty stomach with a glass of water.so also eating almonds daily as part of a healthy lifestyle lowers bad cholesterol levels and helps reduce risk of heart attack.almonds contain no cholesterol an are rich source of folic acid,a natural vitamin E,and minerals gives them cholesterol lowering effect and anti oxidant properties.almonds also supply mono- saturated fat, decrease bad cholesterol and increase good cholesterol there by reducing risk of heart attack.thank you good luck.

It has been proven, that eating oatmeal at least 3-5 times per week, can lower your cholesterol by 10 points or more. Oatmeal is very good for him in other ways as well. I would suggest he try this.
