6 Months Ago Today, I Married The Love Of My Life!!!!

6 months ago today, I married the man of my dreams in a small civil cerimony here in Sedona Arizona. It was a beautiful cerimony, and two days later we had a party for our friends.
My family is all at home in Canada, so we're going to hae another cerimony, the larger wedding we wanted, but didn't have, because we wanted to get married right away, to get the paperwork started, since I'm Canadian and he's American. We're thinking of possibly having the cerimony on Sept 6th, our first anniversary.
Today started off brilliantly, when my wonderful husband woke me up with a Mocha Latte. He knows I love those, especially the way he makes them!!
What a wonderful day. I can't wait till he gets home from work. We're going to have some FUN in the hot tub tonight!!!

Congratulations on your wonderful marriage hon! Ok....so it's been six months since the big day, but I'm behind on everything right now. LOL! I am so happy that you have such an awesome husband, and that you are so obviously and blissfully happy in your marriage. I hope it lasts for forever. And enjoy your time in the hot tub tonight sweetie...try not to splash ALL the water out in your....ummmmmmm...."exercises". Teeheehee!

You really still have no idea how thrilled and excited I am about this.
It's a shame the, when I married the first time, you hadn't been born. The second time you were only 2. The third time, you were still under age.
I barely got you in time!

Hahahahahahahahahahaha The first time you got married my MOTHER was under-age!!!! I love you and I miss you o much. I hope we'll be able to be together for our first anniversary.

I am so very happy that you and Walker are happy together. The first year is the hardest and it seems that you are just breezing through it. Way to go and a larger wedding sounds so nice. I am sure your family will appreciate it and you will to. Glad you are so happy. :)

I am reading this two months later than the discussion was posted but wanted to wish you congragulations. It always is great when you meet your soul mate. So I figure you have now been married for 10 months. So you are getting close to your first anniversary. If I have figured right. I am very happy for you. My husband and I will be married for 36 years come August of this year. It is great to have someone who will stand by you and morally support you when needed. So here is a congragulations to you and a wish for many, many more years of happiness.

It's great to hear happy endings and stories and I"m glad you posted it.
I too had a small wedding = well mine was minus groom because it was by proxy - and we had planned on having a nice ceremony after but we ended up not doing it. By then we were busy trying to save for an apartment and the ceremony suddenly seemed less important.
I guess that the fact that I never really cared much about a big- or even medium - wedding ceremony helped in forgetting about it.
In your case it seems like it's something that you are looking forward to , so I wish you happy planning and tell us all about it when it happens :)
Nice hubby waking you up with a nice mocha latter, those are the small things that really make our day :)

Congratulations & happy 6th monthsary! It's good to know that you're happily married! My fiance and I have been together for almost 2 years now, and we plan to tie the knot, hopefully before the year ends. We're just trying to catch up on all our financial responsibilities, before we plan on a nice simple wedding. He's an American and I'm a Filipina. We're still darned crazy about each other and I hope we would be this way for the rest of our lives! I wish the best for both of you!

I saw this a few weeks ago, but couldn't respond until now. I remember when you were writing articles about this on Gather and I'm so very glad that this marriage is working for you. I remember when you spoke about your family's opposition to the relationship. I hope your marriage lasts a very long time.

Awh that's wonderful to hear that you've had a good first 6 months of marriage and I am sure you have been kept busy by marital and all the trimmings as we've not seen much of you around here but I hope that's because you've been too busy (in a good sense as opposed to any other sense)!
