How fast can you make a decision in a critical moment?

In our lifetime, we make many decisions that are easy and difficult. What if you were to make a tough decision that want you to give up your vengeance against someone you hate if it meant saving someone you love? Would you decide to grant your enemy's dying wish so that your dreams come true?

I would like to have vengeance on my husbands ex-wife. But I would give up that vengeance to save my daughters or my husbands life.

Questions. Would I have to give up vengeance forever or for just for that moment? If I had to give it up forever, I guess I would have to to safe my loved one, but I would still hate that person and eventhough I couldn't do it myself, i would wish them ill for the rest of my life.but if I could, I would just wait and get the proper revenge later. I can wait. Yes, I could grant my enemies' dying wish with pleasure. Why? They ate dying, the proper revenge is already in effect.
