Addictive Personality

Do you have an addictive personality? What is an addictive personality? When you get involved with a new project or past time do you obsess over it? When you pick up a book can you put it down in the middle of a page or do you have to read the whole chapter? Can a person be addicted TO a personality? Take mine for example..do any of you find yourself having withdraw symptoms if I don't post a new discussion or leave you a comment after a couple of days? Have any of you become addicted to the personality of one of your friends here on myLot? Is there a 12 step program in the works for people who have? And if this discussion looks familiar it should. GRR!

I thought that I had moved into a time warp then. What was wrong with this one? No seedy subversive stuff in the original set of replies surely. Anyway. Yep I'm drawn to some people - you for one. Not sure that I am addicted though. I don't shake when we are not corresponding. My eyes are naturally sunken, so it's nothing to do with the fact that I sit on here 24/7 just waiting for you to come on. I don't cry out 'Oh Cyn" at embarrassing moments in bed (which I never go to because I am sitting here waiting for you). But there is something in yours and one or two others writing style that I enjoy. I am not sure about a 12 step programme though. That's quite a long walk from the computer. 12 steps would take me way out into the hallway. What would I do then?

Forgot to mention by the way that I have been ticked off by a fellow mylotter. Not for being smutty. But for being polite and thanking people who have responded to my discussions, apparently it doesn't lend anything to them. So I apologize if I have ever thanked you for something. Apparently it's not the done thing. Am I ticked off about it. You Betcha!

Glad you liked the comments better. Are you allowed to repeat all your discussions to see if you can get better responses second time around? I'll say nothing about vibrating mice. Don't want to get you knocked off. Didn't mean that to sound that way.

Not usually for me. I think my disorder would be ADD which wouldn't allow me to become addicted to anything, lol I can't stay focussed on one thing for too long of a time. I did have one addiction though, for a while. I was addicted to chat rooms. I guess that fact that I was talking to different people is why I was able to get hooked. I'm glad I got over that one.
