If you're a college student or were a college student, did you prefer a dorm, or a place off campus, and why?

I would prefer to be in a dorm as i can be closer to my friends. Dorm life means a different experience and you should enjoy it atleast once in your lifetime.

I'm a student and if I have to choose I prefer live in a place off the campus; surely it's amusing live in a dorm but I need to have my space and above all study without troubles.
