the postman's motto is to deliver come rain or shine, how does that apply to your life, would you still go out shopping or to a dance or whatever in the rain or a snow storm, or do you wait for nice days to go out?

I am the type of person that has to be active. I don't let anything stop me unless it is a safety issue. If the road conditions are really bad and the authorities are saying to stay home, they I will stay home, but otherwise, I am out and about! I am a nurse and for years I have had to get to work no matter the conditions, so that pretty much has transferred in to my private life as well. I am the one in the neighborhood who will get out to the store and will take an order from all of the people who don't want to get out. Needless to say I always take care of the elderly in my neighborhood during bad weather. I make sure that they have groceries, medicine and other needs met.

I don't really mind going out in any wheather as long as I'm dressed right for the occasion, lots of layers, hats, scarfs and gloves for the cold. A waterproof for the rain, but it is of course much more pleasurable in bright sunshine if you do have to go out. There are days where if the weather is that bad I just draw the curtains on it and stay in for the day, but even the postman has a Sunday off eh! Ellie :D

If i had to go shopping for something necessary, that i need today, like diapers, milk or even grocery shopping, then i'd still go, rain or shine, snow or no snow. If it's a party, i'll still attend since i rsvp'd that i'd be there , unless it was a really bad snowstorm with bad road conditions..then im sure the host would understand.

I go where I am supposed to be, when I am supposed to be there, regardless of the weather. We did put off some entertainment one weekend because it was raining and I was trying to fight off a cold. (I did not succeed) I was willing to go but hubby wanted me to stay in.

Not me. If it is rainy, I might change what I meant to do unless it is important. Or I just want to go out anyway so a rain wouldn't stop me.
