ManUnited is beaten 1-0 against Porstmouth and Has been Knock Out on the Fa Cup Quarter Final...The Whole games is really Annoying, Especially the referee, Martin Atkinson..He was ridicolous, by sending Kuzczak out..and give Porstmouth penalty.

I were lucky enough to be at the game yesterday; although I also therefore had the unfortuanate circumstance of being able to witness the incident first-hand (I were situated just behind and to the right of the goal where the 'Portsmouth penalty', and the consequential sending-off, incident happened). To be fair, refereeing aside, Manchester United did not play well for the majority of the game - yes, we created chances, and we probably should of scored a few, had it been 'our day', but as the game wore on, you could tell it were going to be one of those days.. I do, however, think we deserved at least a draw (thus, a replay) out of it; but then that's the FA Cup for you. Back to the actual comment about the state of refereeing during the game - again, this was poor, very-very poor (diabolical infact); a large number of decisions were made that left the United team, and the supporters scratching their heads with disbelief - how Diarra and Boupa Diop both didn't get sent off (through receiving second yellow cards) during the course of the match, I don't know.. they obviously haven't quite perfected the art of 'tackling'; yet the referee saw fit to book Rooney after one on-the-edge challenge, where he did actually touch the ball - similar tackles were later made by Portsmouth, and they went without any repremand, at all. I know Sir Alex Ferguson were ranting and fuming about the state of refereeing at the game yesterday; and pointed partially at that for the teams exit (it perhaps didn't help really all that much, but stil..), as it may have gradually effected the teams' performance over the course of the game, culminating in the final 15 minutes, where we were forced to play with 10 men, and with a defender in goal. To be honest though, the state of refereeing in this country, especially in the Premiership, has been questioned for some time now, mainly due to inconsistency in refereeing decisions, and I think that fact were highlighted once again during yesterdays' game - I'm not too sure what else can be done to improve it, except perhaps face the reality of having to import foreign referee's, that are regarded as at the top of their profession, into refereeing Premiership matches and the like, from now on. Perhaps?

I think the Martin Atkinson had done a good job in denying 3 penalties for Manchester United and foul Kuzczak for 50-50 ball. The referee make a blunder of the English Referee. It is a big shame to the FA of England. I guess that is the reason why England never qualify for EURO and next World Cup. If I were Ferguson, I will sue the FA and let Sepp Blatter be the next referee for any Man U matches. A big insult to the world of football with that kind of referee.

I still can't say for sure was it foul on Kuzczak or on Portsmouth player...Anyway Manchester United really deserved to go through, but they were so unlucky.First,Tevez couldn't score when goalkeeper went of goal (somebody knocked it from the goal line with head!) and then that Carrick chance (he couldn't put it in from 10 cm) and in the end,Rio Ferdinand almost saved that penalty (I wish he did). It was pretty tough for referee to see what really happened...

Kusczak fouled Baros, no doubt. But the build up to the match contributed to UNITED defeat. From the start to the end, everything not on UNITED side. From the luck to the referee performances, what else can the player ask about?? A clear cut chances wasted, hitting the post, superb goalkeeping by James, injured Van der Saar...finally, sent out of Kusczak...and to conclude the story...UNITED have utilized all the reserves and have to sacrifice RIO to stand between the wall... :)
