I've really missed MyLot. I haven't been as active lately. I guess my writing juices just haven't been flowing. Rather than start a bunch of silly topics or respond half-witted to some great discussions, I just stayed away. Has this happened to you? Would you sacrifice quality just for the sake of staying active?

OMG! Please don't be here for the money....you're so far off based! This lot is meant for people to share ideas and to bond. If you're here for money, it's okay....just don't expect much. Perhaps you should think of another line of business if 2 cents per 2 hours isn't enough for you.

It is a shame that you haven't been all that active on My Lot lately. Being on My Lot quite a bit depends on my mood and whether I feel like writing or not. Some days I reply to ten interesting discussions and other days replying to just three discussions is all I do. I only start discussions when I feel like doing this and this doesn't happen every day. It think I would try to get a quality reply and not be as active if I wasn't in the mood for writing. I wouldn't sacrifice quality just for staying active. It is great to see you on My Lot again.

I agree with you, I felt so guilty being away for so long. But now that I'm back, watch out. I'll be a typing machine. As you're aware, I'm like you, I don't sacrifice quality just for the sake of activity.

Wasting the quality to me is like repairing a hopeless dress; you're just wasting your efforts. Your efforts should be exerted for the best, right, since they earn much more than posting just for the sake of being active. You'll reap more when you're on the mood in giving your best. Like me, I'm resting a bit so that I'll be able to respond to discussions with a better opinion and point of view.

So you know what I'm talking about, right? It's a waste of time to just post a bunch of garbage.

I think quality is a highly subjective term, and that there is value in every human being whether or not thay are feeling particularly eloquent. But it is good to set most things aside from time to time and then they are usually more refreshing when one comes back after a while. I've certainly seen people on here pompously condemning an other member's discussions when their own discussions were equally silly.

Boy, it's sure refreshing to hear your point of view, Dr ann. Your words are just as beautiful as your art! You seem to have the perfect temperament and perfect words for every occasion.

Sometimes, even if I see some good discussions I would like to respond to but I can't find the right words i just leave them alone. It doeasn't make sense to me to respond just in order to respond. And it's not like we will be deleted for not being active, right? Or did I miss a TOS change?
