Is there reincarnation?

I watched a Discovery documentary about reincarnation. There were stories in Sri Lanka and America. There are boys claim to be the reincarnations of the past family member, telling some stories that only happened between their past family members and their parents. That's really inconceivable! I would recommend you to watch it too, which might give you a new insight into this strange phenomenon. There are plenty lots of things we may consider unscientific, but can hardly be explained clearly through the so-called scientific approaches. My question is what is your views on this? Do you believe in it? If not, would you like to watch that documentary and tell me if you still disbelieve or not?

Most Indians believe in rebirth. It is rooted within us. If anything bad happens to us, we usually grumble: "Oh, I must've been really bad in my past life!" and if something good happens, we praise ourselves by saying, "Oh, I must've been very good in my past life!" The theory is that life is never ending, and it goes on and on. The body might die, but the spirit won't. It moves to another body, another form. Personally, I have no proof of it. Do I believe in it? Frankly, I do not care. The cares of the present are too much for me to bother about something so unrelated to my life as reincarnation.

What a interesting thing to find that India and China share some cultural similarity -- I think many Chinese people also believe in rebirth. We also consider one's fortune and misfortune are related to the deeds of one's previous life. I suppose that is because the two cultures are profoundly under the influences of Buddhism. I also hold the opinion that life never ends but exist in another form after it comes to the end of its present one. I don't have personal experience to support that prove. But I reckon it's interesting if you watch the documentary I referred to in my post. By the way, rebirth has connection with a Chinese tradition -- Fengshui. Fengshui means a great deal to us, and according to the Fengshui theory, the selection of one's graveyard matters to one's rebirth. I am not into it, for you know, it is labeled as superstition and not scientific.
