Will you be having cake for Easter? I know most people don't, but a few do.

Like people who have a birthday at Easter or who would rather have cake instead of candy. I've seen some really cute Easter cakes with bunnies or eggs on them.

I was thinking about making a bunny cake. My sister got me a calendar for Christmas that has a different cake for every month. This month is the bunny cake of course. It looks really cute and not too hard to make. It has coconut on the outside and you can do any kind of cake on the inside. I will probably pick chocolate cake.

My grandmother use to serve cake when we went by her hour for Easter. We also had Easter BAskets there though. My mom usually does strawberries with the shortcake cups and whipped cream. We have candy filled baskets there too though.

I may have cake this year. My grandmother used to always make a cake that looked like a lamb laying in grass and I may try to make it for my kids. I am not sure that I will be able to but I may try it. I remember that you use coconut for the grass and dye it green. It makes a cute cake!!

I've never had cake for Easter, and I usually call it Ressurrection Day myself. And I usually don't eat pork much either. Cake is okay, but I rather have it for birthdays.

It is the day of the Ressurection, so I can see that. Not sure how pork got in there. I like cake any time, birthdays would be fine with me.

Except for a little dark chocolate, I'm not really a candy person. I wouldn't mind a little cake though...chocolate with coconut icing or carrot cake.

I think chocolate or carrot cake would go with the bunny just fine. Thanks and take care.

I always buy easter cakes, usually the cadburys cakes, they are gorgeous, and they usually have them on special offer in the place I shop in so I get them. I prefer cake to chocolate so I would rather have that.

Cadbury cakes sound good. Our Dairy Queen closed down, I would have liked one of their Ice cream cakes for Easter. Special offers are good, sounds like fun. Take care and thanks.

We're not Italian but usually we get an Italian easter cake, which is in the shape of a dove, can't remember it's name. I much prefer that to easter eggs as I'm trying to keep my weight down and they don't help.
